PARTNER PFERD – It’s Showtime!

The show evenings at PARTNER PFERD, presented by Sparkasse Leipzig and Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe Sachsen, have always been an integral part of the programme - and an absolute highlight with the audience.

The Sparkassen Sport-Gala on Friday evening and the Leipzig Horse Night on Saturday evening are two PARTNER PFERD highlights that have a significant fan base among the visitors. Both parts await with great equestrian sport and unique shows. Every year, the programme is create exclusively for PARTNER PFERD and can only be experienced at Leipziger Messe. This fascinates all big and small horse lovers!

Sparkassen Sport-Gala I Friday, 16 January 2026

On Friday evening, the traditional Sparkassen Sport Gala invites you to an exciting mix of top-class sport and show in Exhibition Hall 1. Between the thrilling competition classes - such as the qualifier for the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ and the Sparkassen Trophy for the world's best four-in-hand horses - a show block lasting around one and a half hours will fill the arena.

Leipzig Horse Night I Saturday, 17 January 2026

On Saturday evening, spectators can look forward to the Leipzig Horse Night, another highlight of the event. In combination with exciting show jumping competitions such as the Pony Trophy, the PARTNER PFERD Speed Cup and the legendary Six Bars show jumping competition, visitors will experience an evening full of excitement and dynamism. For all horse fans - young and old - the Horse Night offers everything the heart desires.

Diego Giona

This year, the evening show welcomes a very special guest. In 2026, visitors will have the chance to see Diego Giona live in the arena for the very first time.

From an early age, Diego grew up surrounded by horses and animal companions, inheriting a passion that has been passed down through generations. In the arena, he transforms into a powerful and captivating presence – dynamic, courageous, and full of striking charisma. Yet away from the spotlight, his gentle and calm nature emerges: attentive in his care for his horses and respectful in his relationships with his colleagues.

During the evening show, he will enchant the audience on both nights with his remarkable skills in disciplines such as the Hungarian Post.

Mélie Philippot

Mélie Philippot is an international equine artist, director, rider, and acrobat. With her company Hors(e) Série, founded in 2008, she combines poetry, humor, and technical skill. Throughout her artistic journey, she has collaborated with renowned institutions and masters of the equestrian arts, captivating audiences across Europe and beyond. Over the years, she has developed a distinctive style in which creativity and emotion merge with the elegance and authenticity of the horse.

Her most well-known performance, which has already earned her international recognition, is Roman Legend. In it, she appears in a Roman costume alongside one horse, three miniature horses, and a small donkey. The miniature horses carry dolls dressed as Roman soldiers, creating a humorous, original, and poetic scene that delights audiences of all ages.
